What sets Klare Leitung apart from a regular IT systems integrator?
A regular IT systems integrator delivers hardware and cabling. Klare Leitung also delivers the legal side: a confidentiality undertaking under §203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR, and, where relevant, documentation aligned with the KBV guideline on IT security in medical practices. Both come from a single source and are drafted to match each other.
Do we need this even as a small single-practitioner practice?
Yes. The KBV IT-security guideline applies regardless of size to all contracted medical and psychotherapy practices. Even a two-person practice processes special-category health data and needs a properly segmented network, plus a data processing agreement with every provider that has access to its systems.
What does a network installation cost for a medical practice?
It depends on the number of rooms, existing cabling, and the number of network outlets needed. After a free on-site walkthrough, you receive a fixed-price quote, not open-ended hourly billing.
How long does installation take, and does the practice need to close?
Most practice installations are completed within one to three days. We plan cabling work outside consultation hours or on practice-free days wherever possible, so operations are disrupted as little as possible.
Do you only work with medical practices, or other buildings too?
Medical and therapy practices are our starting point, because data protection and IT security are regulated especially strictly there. We apply the same rigor to clinics, office buildings, and other commercial properties that need robust, cleanly documented network infrastructure.
